ABOUT ME

Applied Computer Science student at Thomas More, Geel. Originally from Ukraine. Driven by curiosity and a strong bias toward building — whether that means writing code, wiring hardware, or designing a product from scratch.

I take initiative, communicate clearly, and aim to deliver work I can stand behind. I value precision, creative problem-solving, and environments that challenge me continuously.

03 / WHY APPLIED CS

WHY APPLIED COMPUTER SCIENCE

I chose Applied Computer Science because I am genuinely interested in how technology works — not just in theory, but in practice. Building real things, fast, with real constraints attracted me from the start.

ACS sits at the intersection of software, hardware, and systems thinking. That breadth suits how I approach problems: I would rather understand a full stack than master one layer in isolation.

The combination of electronics fundamentals and modern software development means I can move fluidly between abstraction levels — from circuit-level hardware to deployed web applications — without losing the thread.

PROFESSIONAL AMBITIONS

I see Thomas More as a foundation, not a ceiling. My goal is to develop technical depth that gives me real leverage — the ability to build things that matter, quickly and correctly.

In the near term I want to contribute to projects where hardware meets software: embedded systems, computer vision, and intelligent automation. The Motion Tracking Turret project gave me a taste of this; I intend to go much further.

Longer term, I am drawn to roles that combine technical leadership with creative autonomy — building products, leading small teams, or eventually launching something of my own. What I value most is work that challenges me and creates genuine impact.
